Tess Rutherford is a Mother, Author, Speaker, Minister, and Talk Show Host. Behind her unassuming beauty and mild mannerism, there is a story of triumph and restoration. In her teen years, she had experienced rape, physical abuse, and rejection. The outcome of this sent her into the arms of the wrong men. She soon realized that no one could heal her hurt, reduce her pain, and fill the voided areas in her life except God. At the age of twenty-one, Tess was introduced to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and she was determined her life would never be the same. Although she felt transformed, Tess continued to live a life of regret. The mistakes she had made in the past took a heavy toll on her. But after discovering God’s divine plan, she soon realized the true meaning of life. She received a divine visitation in which God revealed her destiny via a dream. In the dream, she saw herself soaring through the skies. But on the grounds there appeared to be a tumultuous storm taking place. The earth was being flooded and people were struggling to stay afloat. Tess swooped down to “lift people up” out of their storms – the storms of life. After this divine revelation, Tess set out on a journey to carry out the plan of God no matter the cost. And a part of this process required her to step out in faith and leave her place of employment, making $80,000 a year, to fulfill the call of  God. Even in the midst of an economic uproar, Tess’ response to God’s instructions confirmed her faithfulness to Him. Tess is not a stranger to public speaking. She has held platforms at local churches, business settings, as well as her local community. She has a unique way of captivating her audience. Her message is a message of healing, restoration, and empowerment. Through the application of God’s word, Tess seeks to reveal God’s purpose to human beings.
